UNIDOR is legally registered in South Sudan with the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) under registration number 182, in accordance with the South Sudan NGOs Act 2016.

UNIDOR has implemented projects in most parts of South Sudan's states, administrative areas, counties and payams. In Central Equatoria State (Juba) UNIDOR has its headquarters; in Unity State it works in Leer, Manyandit, Panyijar, Koch, Guit and Rubkona.

The highest organ of the organization. The Chair of the Board holds the supreme authority unless the majority of the board members vote otherwise. The Board is comprised of seven (7) members: the Chairperson, the Vice Chairperson, the Secretary General (who is also the Executive Director of the organization), the Treasurer, and three (3) Members.
Day-to-day leadership and supervision. The SMT is the second-highest organ in the organization, monitoring and supervising daily activities. The field-based management team comprises each base manager and sector head; each base maintains a crisis management committee led by the base manager, reporting to the Director of Operations.

The UNIDOR Story — twenty years of evidence, accountability and community-led impact across South Sudan.
As the first Health Pool Fund (HPF) beneficiary from 2012–2019, UNIDOR led primary health care delivery across Mayendit, Leer, Nyal and Koch counties — running PHCCs and PHCUs so that families in hard-to-reach communities could access lifesaving care close to home.
Since 2021, the drilling rig donated by Sign of Hope Germany has allowed UNIDOR to drill and maintain its own boreholes — pairing hardware with hygiene promotion and sanitation campaigns so every village gains durable, community-managed water.
Together with WFP and Christian Aid, UNIDOR runs Food-for-Asset projects — farming support, dyke construction for flood mitigation, and cash-for-voucher assistance — helping flood-hit households recover assets and rebuild livelihoods with dignity.

We are a South Sudanese national and faith-based humanitarian and resilient non-governmental organisation. We work in partnership and collaboration with government line ministries, as well as United Nations funding partners, international and national organisations, faith-based organisations, civil societies, and community-based organisations.

UNIDOR exists to deliver lifesaving assistance and durable development outcomes to communities across South Sudan. We integrate emergency response with long-term programmes so families don't just survive – they thrive.
We work through nine thematic areas, partnering with local communities, government and global institutions. Our locally-led model means decisions are made closest to the people we serve.
UNIDOR is a member of multiple networks and forums including the South Sudan NGOs Forum, the Global Network for Civil Society and Disaster Reduction (GNDR), Charter for Change (C4C), the NEAR Network, and the Local Response Pull Fund (LRPF).
Across working clusters, UNIDOR is an active member of Health, Nutrition, Child Protection, Education, WASH and FSL clusters — including the Strategic Advisory Group (SAG). UNIDOR is a multisectoral implementing organisation across the nine thematic areas shown below.
UNIDOR is a member of the Localisation partner in South Sudan under the Dutch Relief Alliance (DRA) through a project called South Joined Responses (SSJR). UNIDOR serves as Country Local Advisory Group (LAG) Chairperson at the global level, as well as Co-lead.
